On the occasion of the European Championships in Rome 2022 the Foro Italico Park will host the swimming and diving competitions at the Swimming Stadium and the artistic swimming competitions in a temporary swimming pool inside the Nicola Pietrangeli Stadium , tennis court of the Internazionali and bearing the name of one of the greatest Italian tennis players in always, n. 3 of the world in 1959 and 1960, as well as winner of Roland Garros in both years.
