Three years since the last international event, the excitement of water sports is back for masters athletes.

After the Europeans in Kranj 2018 and the World Championships in Gwanju 2019, the suspense is finally over.

From 6 April applications for the 18th European Masters Championships are officially open.
For the first time in history, the beautiful setting of Rome and Italy will host the continental competition for the over 25s from 24 August to 4 September.
There will be five aquatic disciplines: swimming, open water, artistic swimming, diving and water polo, which will be scheduled in five competition venues: Stadio del Nuoto, Stadio Nicola Pietrangeli, Unipol Blustadium Pietralata, Lido di Ostia and Polo Acquatico Frecciarossa.

For participants in the European Masters Championships, the possibility of choosing the all-inclusive formula which includes:

Overnight stays in accommodation of different stars/tariffs/meal treatments;
Transport to and from Rome's airports/stations on arrival and departure;
Transport from the hotel to the competition venues and back according to the sports programme.

For this international event, 2, 3 and 4 star hotels were selected within a 5-10 km distance from the competition venues.
It will also be possible to purchase family-friendly accommodation in residences.
