Arena, a leading international brand in the world of water sports, joins the Roma2022 family as a technical partner for the Aquatics European Championships, which will take place in the Eternal City from 11 to 21 August.

Satisfied Giuseppe Musciacchio, Deputy CEO of arena, after the positive meeting with the president of Roma2022 Andrea Pieri, the executive director Bruno Campanile and the marketing & sponsorships director Andrea Polimeno.

"Arena has always worked to promote an active lifestyle in and out of the water - says Musciacchio - Competitive swimming is the spearhead of a wider sporting and cultural movement, which sees water activities at the centre of a virtuous path of well-being and personal growth. After two difficult years, these championships mark the return to competition in Europe and we trust that Rome will be the ideal setting to celebrate the excellence of our sport together".

The European Championships in Rome will be the most important event of the year for water sports in the old continent. Many attractive facilities will be the setting for the event, starting from the Stadio del Nuoto, which will host the swimming and diving, and the Lido di Ostia, where the open water swimming distances will be contested. As well as dressing the staff and volunteers who will be running the event, arena will be present with numerous points of sale and dedicated merchandising for the event.

Since 1973, arena has revolutionized the world of water sports through intense collaboration with world-class athletes and the development of cutting-edge competition swimwear. Today, this spirit of collaboration and innovation lives on through a continuous evolution of advanced materials and Italian design that enhances performance, style and expression for all who choose arena. From going the lanes to living in style, arena is dedicated to providing all swimmers with the tools they need to express themselves, feel confident, win and achieve more.
