A postage stamp to be produced for Roma 2022

A postage stamp will be produced for the European Aquatics Championships, scheduled in Rome from 11 to 21 August, and for the masters championships that will take place from 24 August to 4 September.

It will be issued for the 'Sports' thematic series by the Ministry of Economic Development welcoming a proposal made by the president of the Italian Swimming Federation Paolo Barelli. Deputy Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin formally informed president Barelli, who 'expressed his gratitude for the important recognition given by the government to a major sporting event representing the entire aquatic movement'.
