Austria, Israel and Spain make official their Roma 2022 teams

Six days to go to the most important European aquatics event in 2022 that will take place in Rome at the Foro Italico and Lido di Ostia, with Austria, Israel and Spain announcing their teams.

AUSTRIA

Six women and seven men represent Austria in swimming, one athlete for open water swimming and three men for diving. For artistic swimming, Austria relies on the Alexandri twins: Anna-Maria and Eirini will try to get on the podium again and achieve a better placing after their world bronze medal won in the technical and free duet routine; the third twin Vasiliki, on the other hand, will perform in the individual events.

ISRAEL

At Roma 2022 Israel's team will present 17 athletes for swimming, five open water swimmers and 10 artistic swimmers. Eighteen-year-old Anastasya Gorbenko, European champion in the women’s 200m individual medley, will try to defend the title claimed at the last European Championships in the final scheduled on 13 August.
